SAMS Odisha Merit List 2022 Department of Higher Education, DHE Odisha and Students Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha has released merit list pdf for Degree +3 admission 2021-22. Students can check merit list, Selection List and Cut-Off List for Plush 3 Degree College (Higher Education) admission 2021-22 at samsodisha.gov.in official website.

SAMS Odisha Merit List: The first merit list for the Plus-3 admissions in the state degree colleges has been released today. Students who participated in the application process can check the merit list on the department’s official websites — dhe.odisha.gov.in and samsodisha.gov.in.

The online applications for the Plus-3 admissions in the state degree colleges began on August 20. Candidates have to submit an online Common Application Form (CAF) and the last date to apply was September 4.

SAMS Odisha UG/ Degree (+3) Phase 

The department has made a few changes in the admission process. The reporting time for students at the allotted institutions for admissions will now be held between September 13 to September 16. The updation of slide-up option form online by the admitted students can also be done between September 13 to September 16. 

For admission to +3 or degree classes, the candidates must have passed the higher secondary (+2) examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education CHSE), Odisha, or its equivalent. Admission into various streams, colleges, and honours shall be done strictly on the basis of merit. Marks secured at the higher secondary (+2) examination out of the total marks, weightage, and reservation (if applicable) will be taken into consideration in preparing the merit list.

How To Apply of SAMS Odisha Merit List 2022

• Applicant shall register her/himself in the portal before applying the online CAF. Applicant need to follow the below mentioned processes to register in the SAMS portal.
• An applicant is required to register to avail different services under CPET through the website www.samsodisha.gov.in. The registration is OTP based. Therefore, the applicant needs to give correct mobile number and e-mail ID.

 Registration Process of SAMS Odisha Merit List 2022

• Go to SAMS website www.samsodisha.gov.in
• Click on the Degree (+3) link under Higher Education banner.
• Click on “New Student Registration” button.
• Enter Name of the Student, Mobile Number and mail id in the box provided.
• Click on the “Generate OTP” button.
• A six digit OTP will be sent to the mobile number provided, which will be valid for 5 minutes.
• Then enter the OTP number in the box showing in the computer screen.
• Give your own password and reconfirm the same in the box showing in the computer screen.
• Password must be at least one Upper Case, Lower Case Digit and Special Character in it e.g. Abcd@7618.
• Then login to the SAMS Application using the user name (mobile number) & password given during online registration.

 Eligibility Criteria For B.Ed. Course:

Candidates with at least 50% marks in aggregate either in Bachelor’s Degree and / or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities (45% in case of SEBC/SC/ST/PwD), Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech.) with Specialization in Science and Mathematics(As per AICTE Syllabus) with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto and 50% marks in aggregate for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates, are eligible to apply for admission to the Programme.

The candidates who have appeared their final year Graduation examination (both Arts / Commerce and Science) are also eligible to apply. Their candidature for admission is subject to the required aggregate percentages of marks at Graduation level during the time of their admission failing which the claim of admission shall be cancelled.

 Eligibility Criteria For B.H.Ed. Course:

a) B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com Examination conducted by recognized Universities having Hindi as an elective / pass / Honours subject with 50% marks in aggregate or Master’s Degree in Hindi with required percentages of mark (45% for SC, ST, SEBC and PwD candidates) in aggregate either in Bachelor’s Degree or in Master’s Degree in Hindi. The candidates who have appeared their final year Graduation Examination (Both Arts, Science & Commerce) are also eligible to apply. Their candidature for admission is subject to the required aggregate percentage of marks at Graduation level during the time of their admission. OR
